All of these Schnauzers have found a home except for three that we are keeping...We fell in love, what can we say!
The pictures you are about to see are not pretty.
If you can believe this, these first pictures are actually Schnauzers. We knew a breeder years ago that used to sell top quality animals and this person was probably the best individual that I would ever send someone to, however, life can pitch us some unwelcome curves and I truly believe that this person is going downhill fast. Animals not being fed, unkept, as you will see here, and living in their own stool and the mud. No water at all and according to the neighbors, being left for weeks at a time.
If the neighbors had not been feeding them from time to time, they would have starved and thus,would have perished, which I was told was the fate of many animals there recently that they could not save. We became aware of all this and approached the owner and took possession of all the animals that we could and hope to do more. This is probably the worse case of matting on an animal that we have ever seen. It was at times as much as two and a half inches thick in spots. Dried stool at one end cacked with mud and ditrius and at the other end, mud, food and ditrius matter mixed in. They have been groomed already, so I will save you that picture. You get to see the results of our work! They have been with us a number of weeks and are already fat and healthy with a new cut and shine!

Mr. Steaphon M DeWEESE made an appointment with Animals Pet Grooming for 2 Scottish Terriers. When I picked the animals up I could not believe that someone would let them get in that kind of shape. Both dogs were in dying need of physical and medicalattention! They were matted severly and covered in feces, we had to let them soak in order to get them semi-clean. After shaving and bathing the first time, we had to go back and do a flea bath and let them soak again! Finally after a few baths, clips of hair, nails and salso some major ear cleansing, we got them looking half way descent. If Mr. DeWEESE did not help these animals, I know for a fact, animals like this don't make it very long. I've seen some terrible looking animals come through a grooming shop and question why some of these people even have an animal or animals in this case! Something should have been done a long time ago, instead of waiting till almost too late. A person who would volenteer their time (not Mr. DeWEESE) to (help) an animal and then treat them like this should be banned from ever dealing with animals ever again!

It is our pleasure and honor to take abused and or neglected animals into our home and rehabilitate them to the point that they can be placed in a home to live out the rest of their lives. It is our Honor, to see them wag their tails and prance when they greet us. I have yet not to cry when one leaves, and I hope I never fail to do so in the future.
